Meritext is a company of Miia Äkkinen, a PhD student at Aalto University School of Economics / Information Systems Science. Miia’s thesis is related to the business use of social media. She is also a social media consultant, currently planning social media courses at Vaasan kesäyliopisto – Vasa sommaruniversitet and developing the ways social media could be used in education. Since March 2011, Miia Äkkinen has been a member of board at Aspectum (Helsinki, Finland).
